I was wondering if you guys had some places you really wanted to go in Tokyo or close to it?
As I've been to quite a lot of places already, I'm not sure where to go next, any idea?
How's life so far:
Food is so great and cheap (<3 Katsudon). People are really polite, the Karaoke is so awesome, having Shounen Jump (one piece, bleach, naruto) before everyone else is amazing (Ok I'm only watching pictures)... Onsen at Izu-hantou (伊豆半島) was so refreshing, mainly when it's outdoor and you can see the stars... Transport and hotels are sort of expensive though.
Any questions? |

- We wanted to go to tokyo tower during day time but we were busy shopping and sightseeing around. So instead we went there after dinner.
It has a nice and strange feeling when you're inside, as the light were off at night from the inside, you could see the tiny cars lights and building, and also there was that thing about the shape of the street (and its light) that should look like the "shadow" of the Tokyo tower... Quite nice and romantic like you said. ^^
I went to Osaka last year by boat from Shanghai, and my Osaka friend showed me his skill on how to "cook" Okonomiyaki... It's quite nice to have that steel plate directly integrated to the table where you eat. I also tried yakiniku barbecue, not sure how it's called, but it's really good.
Hiroshima? And I still didn't go see fuji-san... *Heard it's quite nice but supposed to be dirty and having some garbage at the foot of the mountain.

- Depending on why you go there, the Tokyo tower is quite nice, fun for any children with, or if you go at night, a little more romantic(plus the view is nice). There's also a nice market about 10/20 minutes walk away where you can get some nice souvenirs or just wander around with your person of choice(children under 10 not recommended unless you want to spend the majority of the time running around after them>.<)
If you haven't tried it, okonomiyaki is actually quite nice I find, and hotpot in a group is very nice also.
Can't think of anything else really, but watching(possibly learning?) some of the tea ceremony is quite interesting I find... I'm quite a boring person, so I like this kind of stuff lol. Oh, and while its not quite "close", the shoreline at hiroshima is actually really nice!

- I took the JR lines, from Narita to Tokyo Station but that's it.
Yes saw the firework festival from onsen hotel in Izu-hantou. ^^
Must be quite different though if I go directly there and see everyone wearing yukata... Like Hara is dreaming about hehe. :D

- Hi Haravieka,
Yes, I took Shinkansen a couple of years ago.
If I remember correctly, Shinkansen' top speed was about 190mph or 300Km/h.
As fast as Formula-1 car :)
But it was really quiet and comfortable inside.

- I heard that they are very beautiful...:)

- Have you been to a Fire work festival?
At this time of the year, A lot of Fire Work Festivals are hold
around Tokyo & Kanto area. They are beautiful. I believe it is worth
watching!! Cheers!
