Training Heroes is perhaps the most outstanding feature of this game.
Attacking, hunting and collecting are all accomplished by dispatching heroes.
Heroes' abilities affect the units that the Hero leads.
Recruiting Heroes
You must construct a Tavern in order to recruit a Hero. Taverns invite Heroes in; a level 1 Tavern will bring in 1 Hero, a level 2 Tavern can bring in 2 Heroes. Heroes can be summoned once in 24 hours. If you don't like the stats of the Hero that comes to the Tavern, you'll have to wait 24 more hours until another Hero comes. However, if you use Diamond Functions, you can summon another Hero immediately.
Increasing Hero Levels
Heroes can gain levels with the experience points they gain from attacking a Devil Castle, hunting (in Forest, Swamp, Mountains and Hill areas), and attacking other players.
When the Hero's experience points reach a certain level, make sure to click "Level Up". (If you don't click it, the Hero's level won't increase).
Every time a Hero gains a level, he will receive 1 ability point.
Hero Ability Points
Heroes have ability stats for Basic Ability and Combat Ability, and every time they gain a level you can attribute the gained point to any ability in Basic Ability. The effects that each ability has on the Hero are detailed below.
| Basic Ability | Effect on Hero |
| Stamina | 1 Stamina point = 100 Life |
| Power | 1 Power point = 10 Physical Attack |
| Agility | 1 Agility point = 5 Physical Defense 1 Agility point = 5 Speed |
| Intelligence | 1 Intelligence point = 10 Magical Attack |
| Spirit | 1 Spirit point = 5 Magical Defense |
| Charm | 1 Charm point = 1 Scout skill 1 Charm point = 0.2% critical hit |

[ Distributing Ability Points
]
The number of points necessary to raise each ability by 1 depends on the level of that ability.
| Ability Stats | Necessary Points |
| 1 - 10 | 1 |
| 11 - 13 | 2 |
| 14 - 16 | 3 |
| 17 - 19 | 4 |
| 20 - | 5 |
|
* To raise each ability by 1 in the 1 - 10 range, 1 point is necessary, and 2 points are necessary when in the 11 - 13 range.
Military Formation
Each race has 7 types of soldier (unit) that can be trained in the training grounds.
Trained soldiers can be assigned to Heroes, and their battle strength gets higher as their levels go up.
Also, as Heroes gain levels, the number of soldiers they can command goes up.
Place soldiers with strong Magical Attack skills under a Magical Attack type Hero to gain even more power.
Physical Attack type soldiers are most effective under a Physical Attack type Hero.
Equipment
Heroes can gain equipment when attacking a Devil Castle, or from hunting.
Equipment will raise a Hero's abilities as well as those of the soldiers (units) he is leading.
Equip a complete set of items (5) to add a special ability.
Reviving Heroes
A Hero dies if his Life reaches 0. A dead Hero can be revived at the Tavern. However, the higher the Hero's level, the longer reviving will take.
Discharging Heroes
If you don't like a hero you have hired, you can discharge him. However, you can only discharge a hero under level 10.
